Miraculous Hair Products

Two Game Changing Products From OGX Hair
I recently discovered these two AMAZING hair products while shopping with my sister in Islamabad. I have been searching for the brand OGX in Lahore with no luck in finding them. So when i saw them at this shop in Islamabad i had to grab them! I just had to. And after using them for about a month now, I don't think i'll be using any other brand or product as much as i'll be using this one.
Here's a picture of the two products i bought:

Now, first things first. My hair type. My hair are rough, overly treated by hair dyes, damaged and dry. Most of the days, they are just dead and dull and i have to put them in a bun. So i've been looking for some Keratin therapy and treatments for my hair. Why Keratin? because it defrizzes and smooths the hair. Keratin is a protein and a main ingredient in the outer layer of hair. So basically, my life saver.
I have been wanting to get a keratin hair treatment from a good salon but haven't been able to yet, though i'm still considering in getting it, but until then, these two products that i bought are my two rescuers on my bad hair days.
Seriously though, not over exaggerating, they really have changed the game for my hair.

The first product is the 3 minute miraculous recovery hair mask:

You're suppose to be using this baby right after you shampoo, on damp hair. You apply it on, a small amount of it, from the roots to the ends, and leave it one for about 5 to 6 minutes. I would suggest you use a keratin shampoo with this. I use my keratin classic shampoo with this one, i found it in Jalal Sons lahore. It comes in this sleek looking purple colored bottle. Looks more like a wine bottle to me to be honest. Anyway, i will be posting all about that shampoo and other amazing shampoos to try in my next blog post. For until then, try finding the purple bottle in Jalal Sons.
Coming back to talking about this mask, i say i have to give it a 9/10. On the results and everything. And when paired with the serum, these are my holy grail products for hair.
Here's a link to the actual product website: https://www.ogxbeauty.com/hair/keratin-oil/
I will post the link of the shop i bought them from as well at the end of the post.

The serum comes in a small bottle, like in this picture below:

This anti-breakage serum's main ingredient is Keratin as well. It does have coconut oil, Avocado oils, and cocoa butter in it too. I love how this serum smells and how it makes your hair smooth and silky as they dry. Yes, you apply this serum on damp hair as well. But i dont apply it right after i wash the mask. I apply it after i'm done with my shower and i have dried my hair with the towel. So they are dry, but not soaking wet. I apply a small amount on my palm, rub my palms together and then run my fingers through my hair. Applying to all and every part of my head. And then i let my hair dry. I have noticed that they dry straighter and silkier.

So I have been using these two products once or even twice a week now and i'm guessing i'll be going to Islamabad soon for getting them again.

Now the store where i bought them from goes by the name Hayee's. It's in Jinnah Super and as far as i remember i had to go upstairs, a very narrow stairs that lead to the shop. But the shop from inside, you guys, it was heaven. Also to mention, they have all the imported makeup items, the one's that you find on Sephora and struggle to find here in Pakistan.

What's In My Bag: Back To School Edition!

Summer Break Is Over!
I understand if you've gotten tan over the summer break and you're worried about going back to school with uneven, dull skin, so am i! So here is a list of makeup items i ALWAYS keep in my makeup bag that make me look fresh and blooming in school.

These are my everyday favorite products. Mostly from the drugstore.

The featured foundation base is my all time favourite CILINQUE SuperBalanced liquid foundation, the coverage is light and feels like skin. And this is why i LOVE it. Now who would want to cake up their face to school? I know I wouldn't. So this one is my best friend.
Market price: $25
Link: http://www.clinique.com/product/1599/4989/Makeup/Foundations/Superbalanced-Makeup

Next is my holy grail highlighter from COLOURPOP, in shade "lunch money". Why i love it? Because it's creamy and long lasting. Also, affordable. The shade is pearly and perfect for a fresh look. Paired with a rosey blush on, you bet it can make the dullest, sleepiest face look bright and bloomy.
Market price: $8

Talking about a rosey blush, my bag features this perfect blush from The Balm, in the shade "LACE".
INSTAIN is long-wearing powder staining blush, and that is why i love it.
Market price: $22

Next comes my favourite blush brush to apply my blush on with. And i'm featuring BH Cosmetic's Metallic Pink Blush Brush from their set. Why i love it? Mainly because of how soft and fluffy it is. And oh the metallic pink shade!
market price of the set: $20

Mascara comes next, and my pick is my all time favourite and long lasting Rocket Volume from Maybelline.
Market price: $7.77

CoverGirl lipperfection lipcolour in the shade Rush is my everyday, natural lip shade. It's not really matte and not really glossy. It gives more of a natural finish and that is what i like about it. It may not last all day long, but the shade is what i love about it. Makes my face pop whenever i wear it.
Market price: $6.74
Since it's no longer available on the website, there's new lip color rang "Colorlicious", and the shade similar to Rush is "Sweetheart Blush".

Lastly, how can a bag be good to go without a perfume in it? So my pick for daily wear is the one and only world famous scent, 5th Avenue by Elizabeth Arden. It's very Chic and fresh, and EVER LASTING. Seriously, it lasts the longest. And stays the same.
Market price: $48-$58

BTW Pakistan

BY THE WAY.
A new clothing brand, recently opened at MM Alam road, Lahore, has three things that got my full attention, Creativity and Chic designs, and not to forget, the quality of their clothes. It was on my longer than river Nile list to visit and see BTW Pakistan, and i finally got the chance to do it. And i have all the great thing to tell you guys about the trending brand. But first, Here's the kurta i bought.

You guys know how much i love bright and bold, playful designs, so when my eyes laid on this Kurta, i bought it, but obviously after i checked the lawn quality, which is almost the same as sapphire, almost. Sapphire lawn is my all time favorite!! I paired this kurta with Forever 21 diamond drop earrings and VS secret charm body mist, both of these things i got from ENEM liberty. THEY HAVE FOREVER 21 NOW!! And i will be doing a complete blog post on it but need to tell you guys that their accessories are AMAZING, and i got this pack of three earrings (the ones in the picture above) in PKR 860. It's wayyy better than Accessorize here.
Anyway, back to the Kurta, i wore it to Islamabad to visit my Sister and my one and only niece, and i loved it, and they loved it too. So it's a win. You guys, go check it out, NOW, and as far as the price rang, i got this one for PKR 2200. So it's not that expensive.

The next thing i like about BTW is their scarf rang.

There's like a huge wall of scarfs all over it, and i matched this one with my kurta. The scarfs are big, so they can be used as a dopata with Kurtas, which i used it as. Wasn't going to, but my mom, you know? And it looked chic! I could've taken a picture of my outfit, but i forget in such a rush to get ready and hit the road. But i did take selfies LOL. I'll post one on my instagram @ayeshatmua.

I heart fashion, yes is do. I'm a shoppoholic, yes i am. And i find BTW another weakness for me now. Yes i do.

Sign, i do have to collect money too you know for a new Ipod, i'm done with my old one, it's super slow and i've dropped it way too many times now. Typical me. But these brands are draining me out. I need to take a break, which is what i'm planning now, It's 45 degrees C out there today, Holy Cow, so i'm going to go Hibernate now, see you guys soon, and if you found this heplful, please share it and/or comment on my Instagram picture of this kurta to let me know! xoxo

The Little Pleasures

Cake Couture
I have been posting reviews of products, i have been posting links and thoughts of things that inspire me and i have been doing this since 2012, and yet i never posted a review about something that i do, something that is related to me. The Little Pleasures is my home-based cake couture bakery. I founded it back in 2013 and since then i have been taking orders for customized cakes and cupcakes. Lately i have been looking for ideas of promotion and advertisement and this just hit me, my blog. My blog has now over 75,000 views and with more and more people following it from around the world, this is the place i should put a review of my very own bakery.

I only handle orders through FaceBook and Instagram, that is my main platform and that is where i have my audience/costumers. And let's face it, EVERYONE is on facebook these days, and it's also very convenient to see all the pictures, and talk to the baker online whenever you feel like it and get updates while your cakes are being made.
So, ladies, my amazing amazing blog readers and gentlemen, i want you all to check my little home-based bakery out. Here's a link to my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Lahorecakecouture/

Down here are some of the cakes i made and i am oh-so-very proud of them!

I think these cakes are enough to give you the idea about my work and sugar crafting talent. For more pictures and information, visit my Facebook page and/or my instagram @ayesha1294. Only that i can't make this little bakery go big without your help. So if you guys like my cakes, ever got them made from me and if you were happy with them, please do share or pin this post and let your friends and family know about The Little Pleasures, and help it grow big, I will be forever thankful. xoxo, Ayesha Tariq.

Metallic Pink Brushes Review

Bh Cosmetics Brushes
The New Metallic Pink Brush Set
Metallic pink Brush set is one of the 6 newest brush sets from Bh, that includes the gorgeous gorgeous bh chic (set of 14 brushes that comes in a chic case), Bright white (set of 6 brushes with cosmetic bag), Neon pink (set of 6 brushes with cosmetic bag), Dual Fiber (set of 6 with brush roll) and Double duty (set of 6 fiber brush set).
Metallic pink brush set is my first from bh cosmetics brush range, i've only tried their eye shadows and highlighters, and because i've heard all the great things about their brushes and was more than satisfied from their eyeshadows and highlighters, here i am giving it a try with this 14 piece set, that have all the essentials. Previously, i have used the bobbi brown wooden brush kit and brushes from Avon, Urban Decay, and Essence. So i know the difference between high end and the normal ones to the very low quality ones. And i will be answering all the questions you wanna know about this set in this post.
Here is the first look of the set and the metallic case it comes with.

How do they look and how is their quality?: Well, to be very honest, they look amazing. Very high-end. And the bag they comes in is great for travelling, plus because the 14 brush set includes all the essentials, this is a great deal. The quality is satisfying, oh-so-very satisfying. The brushes are SOFT AS F! The texture is great as well.
What is the price of this set?: Original price: $29.00
Discounted prices: $20.00 (There is 31% off these days on their official site)
I got mine for PKR 2800.
Where did i bought mine from?: I got mine from Cosmetic Planet, Karachi. You can find them on FaceBook as well, i'll be posting the link below.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
with each brush.

Powder Brush: Or the blush brush. Also, it can be used for brushing off the baking face powder.

Angled brush: The angles contouring brush. It's great for the jaw line contour and for the hair line contour.

Foundation brush: I actually have never applied my foundation with a thin brush, it's either with a pizza sponge or the buffing brush. I would rather use this one for the under eye concealing.

Large, medium and rounded shadow brushes: Now these ones are my favorite! They blend so wellllll. The crease blending game strong if you have these, HONEST!

Pointed, firm crease brush, and blending brush: Again, these ones can be used for blending shadows in the crease area, or for the shadow application. And because there are different brushes, you can feel fry to keep some for the darker shadows and some for the lighter.

Concealer brushes: Big and small concealer brushes, also, can be used for shadow application, but you already got enough of those with this set lol. So this is another good thing about this set.

Lip brush: Do i say more? haha, this brush is an average sized lip brush, great for small and big lips.

And finally the Brow brushes: That comes in two different sizes. So, what else is this set missing? I think this set is great how it is.

Carli Bybel Palette

Review
My two favorite things in one! Bh cosmetics and Carli's amazing choice of highlighters and eyeshadows in one palette. And not just that, the shadows are extremely pigmented and the colours are rich! There are 14 eyeshadow colors and 4 highlighter. My favorite are the 2 lighter shades of hoghlighters. In the eyeshadows, purple, taupe and bronze shades are just to die for! And oh, the gold ones!
Have a look at the palette.

The packaging is simple and pretty, and the price of this palette is
reasonable. I got mine for 2200 PKR from Cosmetic Planet, you can find them on facebook and on Instagram, I'll be posting the link down below at the end of the post.
I've been creating so many looks with this palette, from basic pin up girl look to purple-taupe smokey eyes to bronze and gold smokey eye! and with these amazing highlighters, this new palette is my this months top favorite makeup product!

Just. Look. At. Them. Highlighters!! And how pigmented they are! I have all the nice things to say about this palette, only that, i think it's missing a dark shade like a blackest black. With that, it would have been a complete package. Well, for me, at least.

The darkest shade of the highlighter, if you're fair like me, can be used as a bronzer. But a shimmery bronzer? i'm not really a fan of it. So here's a trick, you can use it for your eyes, yes! For creating a bronze-gold smokey eye, it would be amazing for weddings and night functions. I will be posting makeup tutorials using this palette really really soon.
One more thing i love about the palette is that it comes with both, matte and shimmery eyeshadows.
My first ever experience with BH cosmetic eyeshadow palettes was when i bought the 88 shimmer eyeshadow palette and i was so impressed. The price paid and the pigments, and colors, everything is satisfying. So, after that, i didn't even think twice before buying this one, i just went for it, and i can happily say, i'm satisfied and impressed just like i was before.

Heres where i bought mine from: https://www.facebook.com/cosmeticplanetpk/
(the owners name is Uroosa, and she's amazing!)

If you liked this review and found it helpful, please share and don't forget to pin it! Thank you, and i love you guys so much! xoxo

ColourPop Lippie Stix

Review of Sundays in Silverlake
Lippie Stix came out a while back, and they were a hit! With everyone loving them and their amazing colour range, and Matte, satin, Creme and glossy finish, they are never going to get old. ColourPop cosmetics aren't really a popular brand here in Pakistan, well mostly because it's only available online and Pakistanis aren't really a fan of online shopping. I never really shopped online myself till i came across a makeup page that offers cash on delivery, so i decided to give it a chance and i placed an order with Sana of Cosmetic Candy. And i have to say, she's the sweetest person, and i can totally trust her. She gives the best makeup advice as well and helps you out deciding what to buy. I have to alert you guys here too about pages that are selling fake makeup items, look out for them! I'll post the link of Cosmetic Candy page at the end of this post, for my review and swatches, keep reading!

So here it is, ColourPop lippie Stix that i'm totally obsessed with. I was looking for different shades of lip colours and this bow of heaven is everything. The name is Sundays in silverlake. And there are 6 different shades, Cougar, Thirsty, Pasties, Chella, Parker and Ace. Cougar, Parker and Thirsty are in Matte finish! My absolute favourite is Parker, it's the colour i wear the most and on everyday basis, it's natural and fresh. thirsty and cougar are sexy af! they are my choice for special occasions ;)

This is cougar, this baby is a fresh red colour in Matte finish that i loveeeeeeeeeee.

This set is actually amazing because it has different colours and the price is affordable as well. I got mine for 4400. It's not much for 6 amazing lippies. So this is a great deal. I actually prefer buying sets instead of buying one by one. The only two shades i don't like in this set are Ace and Chella. Ace is nude, kind of, it's veryyyy light and doesn't look good on its own, so i used it as a lighter shade of the ombre look on my lips, using stage line cosmetics lip pencil in dark coffee shade for the dark shade.

This is how the Ombre lip turned out, not bad huh?

The next shade which i'm not really a fan of is Chella, it's orange. I like orange lipcolours, they are fresh and looks good on me but this one is a bit weird (lol). I did try it on, and instantly removed it, the colour looks like some cheap orange lipstick that comes with Barbie doll sets for kids, yeah lol.

Thirsty is nice, it's warm pink and matte, LOVE! I didn't get a chance to do a makeup look for all the shades, i will do it very soon though. For now, here are the swatches down in the picture.

See the orange one? yeah that's what i mean when i referred to the lipsticks in barbie sets. Except that, every colour is amazing!! The link to the page is at the end of the post, and i don't think i have anything else to say except that i love you all and thanks you reading my blog! please don't forget to share and pin! love you loads xoxo

The Next Big Thing!

Powder Lipstick

Yes, powder lipstick is a thing now, and it's amazing! And as far as i'm guessing, it'll be taking over the world in no time!
L'Oreal Paris introduced this amazing powder lipstick AKA Tint Caresse in Asia (only in Malaysia, i guess) a while back and it's a complete hit! Now, L'Oreal will be launching it in the west and other countries pretty soon (hopefully in Pakistan as well), and i can't wait to get my hands on one. It is the FIRST ever powder lipstick in the world.
I haven't used it yet, since it's not available in Pakistan just yet, but in this post i'll be telling you guys about the lipstick and the reviews it's getting.

L'Oreal Paris promises that this lipstick is super blendable and feels like you have nothing on your lips, and believe it or not, this lipstick won't be drying your lips like other matte lipsticks and glosses. Also, it's Kiss-proof!! The color range it had was amazing! and since it's still yet to come in the west, i'm clueless about the colors available there.

Here are the colors the product is available in Korea and their swatches! I'm so excited for this, seriously! Specially because of it's non-drying and kiss-proof feature. Other matte lipsticks just dries and gives you lip flakes. And if this lipstick is a solution for all your questions, then i'm pretty sure it'll be ruling over the makeup world and will be the new holy grail of makeup artists all over the world, i just can't wait to get my hands on this and try for myself, and when i do, i will be updating on the review for you guys, with its pros and cons. But for you, this is all. I love you all and if you too are excited for this, share it and leave your comments, xoxo.

Starry Night Eyes

Makeup Tutorial.
First of all, Happy New Years ya'll!! This look that i'm doing in this post is inspired by the new year's eve makeup look, it's glittery and perfect for a party. New Years may be gone, but hey, it'll be a year full of events and parties! hope for the best, always.

Things i used:
for eyes:
- bh cosmetic 88 shimmer eye shadow palette
- red brown shade from kryolan for my crease
- Rimmel london Wonder'full mascara
- essence white eye pencil
for face:
- Luscious cosmetics contour palette
- Nivea hydration lotion
- body shop primer
- Rimmel lasting finish foundation
- Rimmel liquid concealer
lips:
- maybeline lipstick in honey beige

Directions:
This post is mainly about the eyes, so i skipped taking pictures of me doing my face, lips and eyebrows.
You know the drill of applying foundation, i moisturize my skin and applied primer before applying my foundation, because i have extra dry skin and i get patches and fine lines if my skin is not moisturized and primed properly, specially in winters.

So once i'm done with my face, i started with applying the red brown matte eyeshadow on my crease and blending it well towards the outside. I'm using naked 2's blending brush (i guess its naked 1's, i'm not sure) but the bigger the blending brush, the better. Bh cosmetic Sculpt and contour brush set has some good brushes as well that can be used for blending the eye shadow.

Next, you cover the entire eye lid with the blueist shade from your bh cosmetic palette, blending it with the red brown shade on the crease area. Blend it well till you get the smokey effect. Here i'm using a small blending brush.

Apply the blue shade under your eye and blend it using the red brown shade, i'm using a small eye shadow brush for this. also, towards the inner eye, apply pearl shade or silver shade from the bh cosmetic palette. And on your inner eye lid, apply essence eye pencil in white.

Apply glitter fixative over your eye lid and press on the blue glitter. (i'm using a normal glitter that comes in a tiny glass bottle without any brand name, can be found easily at any arts and craft shop)
Apply all over the apple of your eye.

Finish your eyes by applying mascara and fake lashes if looking for a heavier look.
And there you have it. This look is easy, bold and beautiful. :) I hope you guys like it, and if you do, follow me on insta @ayeshatmua for more makeup pictures and 15 sec video tutorials! I love you all. xoxo
